Aaron is one of the most experienced Chartered Building surveyors and building safety managers in the UK, with a lifetime of continued experience in the Property, FM and construction industries having developed his initial experience ‘hands on’ from the family-owned house building business were pioneers in modern timber frame construction.

Aaron is also an experienced expert witness and expert advisor who has given evidence under cross examination in court and as a single joint expert.  Aaron also has experience of ADR / mediation sessions, FTT, pre-protocol services and provides CPR compliant reports. Expert witness roles have included matters relating to Employers Agent, independent certifier, boundary disputes, dilapidations, construction disputes, latent defects / damages and professional negligence claims against building surveyors and professional consultants.

Aaron’s vast building consultancy experience also includes Technical Advisor, party wall surveyor, contract administration, project management / employer’s agent, independent certifier, project fund monitoring, Principal Designer, dilapidations surveyor, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and high end residential and commercial building surveys. 

Technical due diligence experience includes MoD portfolio of over 40,000 properties conducting stock condition surveys, PPM’s, H&S, Fire Safety management and assessment of maintenance and lifecycle strategies.

Aaron has also acted as a Health & Safety Company Director for a National civil and structural engineering consultancy.

Over the last 6 years Aaron’s consultancy focus has been on external wall surveys including EWS1 and PAS9980: FRAEW surveys, Building Safety Case Reports under the Building Safety Act for various national clients and property managers.
